Mrs. Kala Brittain is a pre-algebra and seventh grade general math teacher at Bell-East Middle School. She’s been teaching math for seven years, all of them spent at East.
Mrs. Brittain wanted to be a math teacher because she loves working with young children and she has always been good at math. Before she had dreams to become a teacher, Mrs. Brittain wanted to be a nurse. She loves to help people. Her uncle was a teacher though, and he made a big impact on his students, so he inspired her.
Mrs. Brittain went to college at Marion University. She went there because she played softball and she liked the school.
Mrs. Britain’s goals for her students are for then to learn as much as possible, pass ISTEP, and eventually be successful in the future. She tells her students to take school seriously because it will impact their future.
