Each year at Bell-East Middle School, the science department has
Galileo Day. Galileo Day is a school wide experiment to see if objects fall
equally at the same time and at an equal speed. Mr. Clark Hadley drops a variety of objects from pumpkins to computer monitors off the rooftop of the multi-purpose room. Students watch diligently and collect data on the time of each object’s fall and solve an equation to figure out their distance.
