As the seventh grade football season kicks off, and with two games under their belt, the Bell-East football team is off to an exceptional start. Bell-East battled the Monrovia Bulldogs and were victorious with a score of 20-6. Michael Hoppel played extremely well and received two touchdowns, Brandon Dodson scored on an interception. Ben Balcerak also played superbly, scoring a two point conversion, and Justin Reed kicked an extra point giving Bell-East a generous advantage over Monrovia. Bell-East also faced the Franklin Cubs and won 36-23 after multiple touchdowns from Alec Bales, Travis Griffey, and Boyd Johnson. Ben Balcerak also acquired two, two-point conversions and Justin Reed scored one, two-point conversion after he caught an outstanding pass from Travis Griffey. Overall, each of the teams played an amazing game.
