Kaitlyn Bowles is a seventh grader at Bell-East Middle School. She attends Elite Dance and Acrobatics for dance and acrobatic lessons, and she is a Bell-East Middle School cheerleader.
Kaitlyn has been a dancer for 11 years. Her mother got her started as a dancer by putting her in classes when she was two years old. Throughout Kaitlyn’s years as a dancer, she has recieved help from the dance instructors at her studio, and her father, who can tumble. Her solo teacher, Miss Kimmie, has inspired Kaitlyn to try her hardest and dance to the best of her ability. Dancing and acrobatics has helped her in everyday life by improving her confidence and helping her tryout for the Bell-East seventh grade cheer team, therefore making the team. Kaitlyn worked at this activity for seven years before she won her first solo; she was nine. Several parts of her talent still present challenges to Kaitlyn, including tumbling while she is injured and dancing technique. She practices at Elite seven hours a week, and she has seven classes. She still enjoys dancing, and she does not regret joining this activity whatsoever.
Kaitlyn enjoys sharing her talent with the community, whether it be as a middle school cheerleader, in a talent show, or in an official dance competition. She continues dancing and improving each day, and she works her hardest to become the best dancer she can be.
