Bell-East Middle School eighth grader Lauren Spina is nervously
anticipating the day she will have to say farewell to her beloved middle school. Lauren stated, “I will probably miss the Bell-East staff the most because everyone is really nice and helpful. The entire staff helps to make coming to school and learning fun, it is one of the Bell-East’s best qualities.” One of Lauren’s favorite memories of attending Bell-East is having the ability to participate in the school pep rallies as a cheerleader. Although leaving behind friends and old memories, Lauren is excited to finally enter her first year of
high school and become a freshman. She is also thrilled to have the opportunities to choose from an innumerable amount of classes that suit her; however, new possibilities also bring new fears. Lauren said, “I am terrified that when I become a freshman and go to high school that I might get lost. I am not very good when it comes to directions.”Lauren is both very nervous and excited to leave behind all of the memories created at Bell-East and to eventually make her way to the high school as a freshman.
