Joseph McGuire is currently an eighth grader at Bell- East Middle School. He is anticipating the day until he attends high school but he is also sad to leave Bell-East. While leaving Bell-East, Joseph will have many great memories, such as being in Mr. Earl Haniford’s sixth grade class. He states, “I enjoyed Mr.Haniford’s humor, his politeness, and how he was deeply respected by his students.” Joseph will miss the closeness with his Bell-East friends the most while attending high school. On the bright side, he is looking forward to all of the high school elective classes and being able to have more of an option to learn from. Unlike many other students, Joseph feels as if his freshman year is no big deal. Joseph feels Bell-East has prepared him for the future ahead of him. While he has been attending Bell-East , Joseph has seen the friendliness between the students and the staff, which he believes is Bell-East best quality. Even though Joseph will be attending high school next year and leaving Bell-East behind him, Joseph is ready to take the next big step in his life and become a high
