are preparing for a new journey of their lives at Martinsville High School. Jacob Cox is eager to be a freshman next year at the high school but will miss Bell-East deeply. His favorite memory from Bell-East is Mr. Earl Haniford’s sixth grade science class. Jacob says this, “Mr. Haniford is my favorite teacher because of the activities and his style of teaching his students in an exciting way.” In spite of leaving Bell-East and all of its memories, Jacob will miss all of the amazing teachers who have touched his life immensely. In Jacob’s eyes, Bell-East’s best quality is the organization of files and schedules so that everything will run smoothly. When Jacob makes the huge transition between middle school and high school, he has no fears as to what awaits him. In high school, Jacob hopes to make many new lifelong friends. When the eighth graders complete this transition into high school, they will face new challenges and opportunities they have never experienced before.
